These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Store and all purchases made through it. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility
Our products are offered to consumers and businesses located in the European Union. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

3. Products
We sell interior lighting products (pendant lights, chandeliers, and related items). Product images are for illustration purposes; minor variations in color or finish may occur due to screen settings and the nature of the materials. The essential characteristics of each product are described on its product page.

4. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in EUR and include VAT. Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely through our payment providers. Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully authorized.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If a product was listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before processing the order and offer you the option to confirm at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

5. Ordering Process
1. Add products to your cart and proceed to checkout.
2. Provide your delivery and payment details.
3. Review your order summary, including total price and shipping costs.
4. Confirm the order by completing payment.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. The sales contract is concluded when we send you the shipping confirmation.

6. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery terms, timescales, and costs are set out in full in our Shipping Policy. In summary, orders are processed within 1–2 business days and standard EU delivery takes approximately 3–5 business days from dispatch, with a tracking email sent once your order ships.
The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
As a consumer in the EU, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving any reason. The full procedure, conditions, and refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.
To exercise this right, notify us within the 14-day period at [contact@thelightproject.eu]. Products must be returned unused and in their original condition. Refunds are issued using the same payment method you used for the order.

8. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
As a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity of at least 2 years from delivery, in accordance with EU Directive (EU) 2019/771 and applicable national consumer protection law. If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced free of charge, or, where applicable, to a price reduction or refund.
This legal guarantee applies independently of, and in addition to, the commercial warranty described below.
To make a claim, contact us at contact@thelightproject.eu with your order number and a description (and, if possible, photos) of the issue.

9. Commercial Warranty
In addition to the legal guarantee, all our products come with a 2-year commercial warranty covering manufacturing defects. The commercial warranty does not limit or replace your statutory rights under the legal guarantee of conformity.

10. Product Safety and Installation
Our lighting products are intended for indoor use and must be installed in accordance with the instructions provided and applicable electrical safety regulations (220–240 V). We recommend installation by a qualified electrician. We are not liable for damage resulting from improper installation, modification, or use contrary to the product instructions.

11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Store — including product designs, images, text, logos, and graphics — is the property of ARVR S.R.L. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the Store or the products, and our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order. 

13. Personal Data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at contact@thelightproject.eu — we will do our best to resolve the matter amicably.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer residing in another EU Member State, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts, without prejudice to consumers’ rights to bring proceedings in their country of residence.

16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order applies to that order. The current version is always available on this page.
